Steve Mathews for President
Okay, not really. But we did do a spoof video commercial
and you can view it on you tube right now. Just go to www.youtube.com
and search for The Session-Steve Mathews for President. It
should pop right up. It's just for fun, but I'm thinking it's
a viable approach for an actual candidate. Of course, if you
want to write me in, who am I to stop you?
Now That Was Fun
I've just got to say thanks to everyone that made performing
The Sunshine Boys so much fun. To our Director, Mike Cornelison
for thinking of us and to the cast and crew that made it so
much fun to do and to everyone that came to see us and actually
laughed. We also have to thank the Des Moines Register and
City View for giving us such kind reviews. I don't think Mike
Pace and I will be doing another play for quite awhile, but
please know that we truly enjoyed every minute of it.
Rejection Slip Theatre Is Back on
the Radio
Now, not only can you download Rejection Slip Theatre as
a podcast from i-tunes, but now for those of you close to
Des Moines, you can listen to RST Saturday's at noon on KFMG,
99.1 on your FM dial. It's also available as streaming audio
at www.myspace.com/kfmg. They play some pretty darned great
music and Ron Sorenson and I share a birthday, so I recommend
you add the site to your favorites and listen all the time.
Spring Class Graduation
Last Tuesday, ten more students from the University of
Talkin Perty here at the Radio Garage took part in graduation
exercises. Primarily they did some push ups and jumping jacks.
(That's a joke son, a joke.) Mike Meacham assures me that
this is one of his best classes ever and we're anxious to
get their demos done and out here on our website. Be watching
for a special page just for those voices coming soon to an
internet near you.
Sincerely,
Steve Mathews/Head Audio Mechanic
